Brand awareness and high conversion rates are key and that is what a digital marketer is looking to achieve with their clients.

However, keyword research is just as important, if not more important, than SEO. It will allow a marketer to understand how to the proper audience for the right product or service.

 

A digital marketer will not always focus 100% on SEO, however, they will dedicate some time every day to the Google AdWords and PPC campaigns. The reason why PPC is so lucrative is because there are so many people who use this service. This service has become very crowded so it is important for marketers to get in on the action. A digital marketer can start out by building a small website and optimizing it for the engines. As their internet skills and knowledge grows they can add more content to the site and increase their earning power.
